there's quite a lot of these magical mascaras going around at the moment isn't there? i originally wanted to get the bourjois one but i was lured in by sparkly and pink packaging of this one! (and it was on offer, herp derp) if i'm completely honest i have NO IDEA how this works, there's only one wand but somehow depending on if you open the length or volume cap they're totally different. if i could be bothered, i'd look at it properly and maybe figure it out.. but i can't. and also when i apply mascara i don't really have the time to think about it or care really?! so yeah, i've just accepted it as magic. please don't piss on my cornflakes.
this is the length part, and my favourite brush. i think most people find it easier to use the volume brush first then comb through with this. but you know, always one to be different i use this first. it does a decent job of separating and lengthening lashes.. nothing a normal mascara doesn't do for me though.
so then afterwards i use the volume side, if i use this first i end up with clumpier lashes than i tend to go for (and i quite like the clumpy look, fyi). i find it best to just use this at the root rather than brush all the way up the length, if that makes sense. sometimes if i'm feeling really adventurous i go through for a second coat with the length wand.
overall though? yeah it's nice, works relatively well and i quite like the idea of the two different brushes. but then again i'm a sucker for these kinds of fads.
have you tried any of these types of mascara? any you'd recommend?
since it's follow friday and whatnot, thought i'd share some of my little friendies blogs! 3/5 are boys so maybe something a little different for you all.
and because it's nice to end every post with my dog,
have a nice weekend everyone!
