i've had better days than this

topshop dress

excuse my sour face! i didn't actually wear this today, i took the photos when i was getting ready to go out sometime and forgot about them! whoops. there's so many versions of this type of dress around lately, i love and want them all. you can't really see it in these photos but mine is the peter pan collar version and it has an exposed zip on the back. very cute! shame about the length though.. i'm not exactly mega tall so i don't know how anyone above 5'5 deals with topshop sometimes.

currently sporting a wine and strawberry cider induced headache. last night i went to see the mountain goats and the submarines! i went mainly for the submarines and they were so adorable. they played you, me, and the bourgeoisie and i had a nice little singalong with myself. the mountain goats were really good too, definitely like them a little more after seeing them.

can't wait for take that to not be in the north east, the metros are SO ridiculous. in my fit of rage i even tweeted the metro to tell them how rude people are, people were literally PUSHING their way on when i was trying to get off! NO MANNERS.

also got talked into donating £3 a month to save tigers or something, i don't even know. should probably just not leave the house.

hope you all had a nice bank holiday weekend!

dance to the beat

benefit you rebel lite + nars sheer glow
mac cream colour base in pearl
collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer
ud sin + naked e/s / mac espresso
maybelline eyestudio lasting drama gel liner
l'oreal telescopic mascara
mac bite of an apple blush
mac violetta + creme d'nude lipstick

this has been pretty much my 'every day' makeup this month, usually using whatever lipstick i find first. sometimes opting mascara for fake lashes when i'm feeling lazy - i find it so much easier to wear lashes than apply mascara?! i suppose this leads me on nicely to may favourites..

mac bite of an apple blush
mac cream colour base in pearl
benefit you rebel lite
collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer
maybelline eyestudio lasting drama gel liner

a lot of this month i've actually braved the world without any foundation, just you rebel lite. i know this has been compared to the elf tinted moisturiser, but honestly this wins hands down. i know it's more expensive but it's just.. nicer. and less greasy. obviously the concealer has been making its way around blogs for a while now, it was on offer a few weeks ago so i gave in to peer pressure and bought it. i didn't bother testing it and just picked up the lightest shade, which is.. VERY light! almost too light for me, which has never happened before. it's as good as everyone says, if you were wondering! as for the blush, i tend to go for a shimmery colours rather than matte, but paired with the cream colour base bite of an apple looks so pretty i think! as for the gel liner, it's just easy to use, very black, lasts all day and doesn't dry up. can't ask for more really!

PAWS UP!

a-wear via asos tunic
peacocks skirt
matalan cardigan..again

monday night/yesterday was HORRIFIC. i woke up at 4.30am with shooting pains through the left side of my head through my ear, jaw and teeth. no idea what it was but it lasted all day. now i'm left with some kind of dull aching pain in my mouth. oww.

anyway, i bought this tunic ages ago with one of the asos groupon codes, accidentally ordered a size too small and couldn't be bothered to exchange it.. it's not that bad but occasionally my boobs like to attempt to get out (see first photo), NEVERMIND THOUGH! i don't tend to wear denim skirts much but the lace edge lured me in and i couldn't say no. hate it when that happens.

did anyone watch geordie shore last night? embarrassing wasn't it? i promise we're not all like that!

067-078

saturday night i went out with the intentions of just going to the pub for a bit - i even wore jeans! obviously that turned into a full on night out in a dirty club and possibly too much strawberry beer. come 3am i found myself in the cinema incredibly drunk and half asleep watching harold and maude. such a surreal experience, would have probably enjoyed it more if the girl with the most annoying laugh had of stayed at home. leaving at 5am was horrific though (see last picture!), going home when it's light and the birds are tweeting is literally the worst thing ever.

not much else has been happening really - i went for an interview and was basically told i'm over qualified. i don't see how having an art degree makes me over qualified to work in an office, but hey ho.

oh yeah, and byker was on fire. that was unfortunate.

ps, how massive are those tits. xxx sized, if you were wondering. snigger.

here we go again, i kinda wanna be more than friends

peacocks dress
matalan cardigan

if i told you i had a photography degree would you believe me? no, i wouldn't either. camera and i are just not getting on lately so these blurry ones will have to do i'm afraid. i haven't done an outfit post in ages, now i remember why. dear me, what a fanny on.

anyway i tweeted about this dress yesterday - i decided it was perfect for a wedding, realised i have no wedding to attend, but bought it anyway. i'm not entirely sure of it to be honest, it's really long and the high neck makes me feel a bit mumsy! i might take it up a bit and maybe that will help.

also, not sure if you can tell by these pictures but the eyelash extensions are no more. i got so fed up of them and pulled them all out. well, not pulled.. i soaked my eyes in OIL and took them off gently. no eyelashes were lost, if you were wondering. they were such a hassle, which is a shame because they were SO pretty. i'd probably only advise getting them if you have an event or special occasion to be honest.

ps, my friend holly is selling some pretty tatty devine on ebay so have a little peek if you're a tatty fan!

yooou smell nice

viktor and rolf flowerbomb
jimmy choo
marc jacobs lola
gucci rush

unlike cosmetics, i do tend to stick to what i know/love with perfume. i've been through numerous bottles of all of these apart from jimmy choo, but i definitely will repurchase! they're all pretty similar in terms of what the smell like - i'm not going to attempt to even describe them, but i'm sure if you like one of these you'd like the others too. it took me quite a while to fall in love with lola, i just preferred daisy for a long time but now i'd probably say i favour lola! ..that might be because for quite a massive period of time every girl wore daisy though. i think gucci rush was the first ever perfume i fell in love with, and the one i've bought over and over. i love that the packaging is plastic, means i can carry it around with me without having to worry!

i've already mentioned how similar flowerbomb and jimmy choo are, not just in appearance (you can't deny that!) but with how they actually smell too. it's uncanny. i don't know what it is but, there's just something about jimmy choo though. i find it heavier and a lot more long lasting than flowerbomb, and for that reason i tend to use flowerbomb through the day and jimmy choo at night.

what are your favourite perfumes?

ps, i started a TUMBLR to post photographs of louie. pretty sure my facebook/twitter friends get fed up of seeing his little pug face over and over, oops! as a result i need some tumblrs to follow please?

you are. the only exception.

i think there's two types of people when it comes to buying beauty/makeup products - those who stick to what they know, and those who hate buying the same thing twice. i definitely fall into the latter. i absolutely detest buying the same product twice even if i know it works great, i just always think there must be something better? however there are a few products that, over the years, have became exceptions.

mac 'hue' lipstick
mac 'impassioned' lipstick
mac 'angel' lipstick
barry m 'touch of magic' lip paint
mac 'msf natural' light
l'oreal 'telescopic' mascara

i wouldn't even necessarily say these are my favourite products - but they are products that i've repurchased over and over, so perhaps they are! i HATE buying the mac lipsticks in particular, because there's always so many other colours i want. i think these are colours that i actually NEED rather than want though, as in i never feel satisfied after buying them because they're more of a necessity? oh lord i'm thinking about this way too much.

i've already raved about l'oreal telescopic mascara, it's the one i always have to have a tube of in my makeup bag. i always have about two or three mascaras on the go, i don't even know why because nothing ever beats this! same with the msf too, i'm always drawn in by other powders but never hit the pan on any of them.

hue, impassioned, angel, touch of magic

if you don't know what a 'touch of magic' is, you're probably thinking i'm a massive weirdo for being obsessed with green lipstick, and you wouldn't be alone. the amount of people who have looked at me in sheer horror when i've whipped this out on a night out is pretty high. anyway, it's a magic (like the name suggests..) formula which, depending on the level of alkali of your lips changes how deep the colour is. i remember when i first bought this and testing it on all my friends! it really does work - the range of colours varied from a deep red to a shocking pink, and seriously everything in between. on me it's a really bright deep pink, almost kind of red. i think this is my favourite because it's more of a lip stain, than a lipstick. supposedly it lasts 8 hours, but y'know, take these things with a pinch o'salt and that!

what kind of beauty buyer are you? are there any products you buy over and over?

043-066

should probably consider doing these posts more often instead of doing huge dumps of project 365. i can't be bothered to caption them all! i think they're all pretty much self explanatory anyway. basically all i do is drink too much wine, paint my nails, buy too much makeup and take too many photographs of my dog. livin' the dream.

i can't stop looking/laughing at louie in the swing. he's such a child though, wouldn't actually get out.. he loved it!

nothing else to say, LIFE IS DULL.
