asos cape

since my autumn shoe post i thought i'd show you my autumn cape of choice! i searched forever trying to find the perfect one, all of the amazing ones i found were hoodless which was really annoying! who wants a cape without a hood?! not me. i settled for this one anyway, and to be honest i don't wear it as much as i should. it's definitely only suitable for autumn, because it's not all that warm and i struggle with what bag to use. i usually wear my bag on my shoulder which is pretty impossible whilst pretending to be a superhero, unfortunately. are capes even still in fashion?! oops.

and for good measure, here's a picture of louie and i today. we've basically wasted our day cuddling and napping which is okay for him, but i have shit to do. bloody pugs.

H ALLO WEEN

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! hope you've all had a terrifying (har) weekend! i didn't dress up this year, but instead went to my friend jackies flat to watch films and eat lots of food. as you can see jackie puts a lot of effort into halloween, she made the most amazing spooky treats! i'd been ill all day but couldn't refuse ghost strawberries or skeleton biscuits! AMAZING.

we watched scream 4 which did actually scare me slightly (wimp) and then the lost boys which holly was disgusted to find out i hadn't seen before. i might have accidentally fell asleep for 5 mins and when i woke up i was totally a lost boy myself. no idea what happened or what it was even about, vampires or something? maybe i'll watch that another day to avoid further disappointment with my friends.

autumn shoes of choice

so summer has well and truly gone hasn't it? my sandals and pumps have been packed to the back of my wardrobe for yet another year, and i'm now on the look out for cute booties/brogues/non dainty shoes. considering it's only october my collection is going quite well i think, and these are all welcomed additions to my autumn footwear! i'm not expecting the primark ones to last very long, considering they're some sort of faux suede, but they're super cute and go with everything! the floral booties are probably the most adorable boots IN THE WORLD, right? i'm going to try my best not to let the seasons ruin them!

i'm still searching for the perfect winter boots, has anyone found any? ideally i want flat tan leather ones with maybe some detailing but i'm not sure what! i just can't seem to find any i like, anywhere. i'd love to see your autumn/winter shoes/wishlists?

UMMM HI

HIYA! remember me? no? umm. real life has kind of got in the way recently and i haven't felt very much like blogging. but not to worry! thought i'd wiggle my way back in with some photos from my weekend in london avec seb.

as you can see we had LOTS of fun. the weather was absolutely ridiculous and i'm pretty sure i came close to passing out about twenty times. not even exaggerating. well, maybe a little BUT IT WAS MEGA HOT. spent the weekend pottering around brick lane - as i got over the shock of seeing some lady trying to sell FOUR boxes of battered tampons around the corner was a young chap selling individually wrapped condoms. wow. (i stocked up, if you were wondering) we ate food and cupcakes and drank cocktails to celebrate bex's birthday, wandered around camden and turned shoes into cider-bottle-holders whilst picnicking by the canal.

BUT the best thing ever was a surprise trip to THE ZOO. i nearly wet myself with excitement and seb may or may not have had to tell me to calm down on more than one occasion. BUT HELLO, PENGUINS! and monkeys! and lions! oh my god. apart from the parrots flying at my face and the horrible enclosed butterfly farm, I HAD THE BEST TIME. i think the penguins will always be my favourite zoo animal because they walk funny and i imagine if they could speak they'd have the cutest voice. but i was also a huge fan of the monkeys and gorillas this time round. OH I CAN'T DECIDE I JUST WANT THEM ALL AS PETS PLEASE.
