this dress is not suitable for windy weather, at all. it has the fullest skirt EVER and i'm sure you can imagine what that means. i'll say no more. rubbish pictures really, you can see the collar better on the website. i opted for the navy and cream but i do really love the peach version of this too!

incase anyone was wondering.. i am SO ILL. it all started with a sore throat which developed into a chest infection and now a massive cold. man flu, even. i'm sure i'll survive. maybe. the joy of working in an office i suppose? just love sharing germs.

i bought a really pretty dress and some wedges from oasis this weekend to wear for a staff event (my work made the guardians top 100 places to work!) haven't got around to trying everything on together yet, but i'll try not to get too drunk and blog it.. hmm..

anyway hopefully my germs can't be spread via the internet and you're all okay!

i've had such a weird/awkward/funny old week. glad it's almost over to be honest! spent the first half of it recovering from the previous weekend - stayed after work for the quiz on friday and didn't leave the office until super late after many boxes of wine and papa johns pizza were consumed. moved onto a club and don't remember getting home! saturday i went to see my friends band retriever play then relived my youth in the academy where pictures like this and this happened. also got to meet and beyonce strut with rooooons which was lots of fun!

after a year or so of leaving #teamiphone for a blackberry i have FINALLY came back to iphone life, and i feel lots better. betty blackberry and i just weren't getting on. this means i'm now on instagram and i am one of those knobs who takes pictures of their dinner! i genuinely struggle for what to wear for dress down days at work, so much so that i've started to invest in jeans so i actually don't look like i've forgotten to dress down! i don't often wear jeans and i certainly don't wear trainers but i've gone back to my youth and i'm now the proud owner of a pair of converse. i couldn't decide between white or coral, but opted for coral in the end since white will definitely be ruined within i dunno... a day. i'm looking forward to summer to be able to wear them more! i feel like i'm possibly too old to be wearing them, but maybe not? how does everyone else feel about converse? the last pair before these i remember owning were TARTAN. yes i was one of those people.

don't have much else to say so here's a picture of louie when i accidentally made him pink. i somehow got lipstick all over my hands and then picked him up. he didn't seem to mind though.

i work in an office. luckily for me it's a lovely relaxed office so i don't have to dress too differently to how i normally would. i bought this dress for my graduation, and find it a bit too smart for a normal day but not dressy enough for a night out.. obviously perfect work wear. it's actually not that see through in real life, i'm going to blame the sun entirely.

i dyed my hair again recently and it's looking a lot redder i think! still really really want to go proper ginger but i don't want to bleach my hair, think i'm finally over all of that, much to my mothers joy. if you follow me on twitter you'll probably have seen me whinging for days about getting a doctors appointment - even self diagnosing myself with life threatening illnesses at one point.. WELL I ONLY WENT AND GOT AN APPOINTMENT TODAY! i even got offered a free chlamydia test!! COULD LIFE GET ANY BETTER?!

i think this is my first outfit post of 2012, which is weird because i've definitely been wearing clothes for the past few weeks. this dress is also my first (and only) primark purchase of the year too, and i've worn it quite a few times since i bought it! i find primark to be really rubbish now, i never find much i like anymore or maybe i've just stopped buying cheap dresses i don't even wear for the hell of it? AM I GROWING UP or is primark just not that great?

so since i already look like minnie mouse and the weather is dire, it's okay to wear these earmuffs.. right? i can't help but feel like england judges me. i felt totally comfortable wandering around disneyland paris wearing them but not so much the north east.. i know i'm not five, but they are so cute and my ears really appreciate them.

ps, i hate snow.
