oasis dress

i actually wore this to a staff event a few weeks ago with these tights and shoes but i didn't get any particularly good photographs from the night! nevermind. i haven't worn the dress since, not entirely sure about it now! it's longer than i'd normally go for so it might become a work dress i think.

not all much else to say really! been a busy week at work so haven't had much time to even think! i finally caved and entered the world of topshop makeup so i might do a little post on that soon.. not sure how i feel about the stuff i bought yet though. also accidentally bought a nars blush during the 25% student discount today, oops. not sure if it's a good thing still having a student card attached to my account!

cake and wine

primark tights which laddered after an hour, more... cake, map of the tube t shirt, more... wine, drunk faces, my dog bought me a mothers day card!

so basically all i do is eat cake and drink wine and spend too much money on crap.

h&m blue lace dress

this is actually what i wore on saturday night teamed with black wedges and a battered vintage navy blue clutch to get a little bit too drunk. i actually wasn't planning to go out but after a few tweets and a £2 taxi later i was en route to rachel's flat for wine and shots and phone calls to lucy before rolling around newcastle until the early hours of the morning.

didn't do much else this weekend! louie had a pug date with his best pug pal which was pretty cute. they kiss and cuddle and everything! louie is the one with his tongue out. obviously.

neon pink ambition~~

today i received this BEAUTIFUL bobbi brown lipstick (neon pink) and an illamasqua blush in ambition c/o lucyparts who is the best person EVER. i didn't bother photographing the blush because to be honest, it doesn't look that special in the pan but on the skin looks SO pretty. it's a gorgeous sparkly rose colour which doesn't look anything like it does swatched - definitely one to apply before judging.

bright lipsticks are my favourite. i just don't suit pales or super nudes, i always go for neutral eyes and a more 'daring' lip. i probably shouldn't wear bright pinks with red hair but i've never been one for matching! this is the first bobbi brown lipstick i've tried and so far i'm really liking it, it's really creamy and doesn't cling to dry bits (i'm looking at you viva glam nicki.) seems to last really well and was super easy to apply! i think i might have to take a detour to the bobbi brown counter whilst on my way to work next week.. any recommendations? i usually always rush to mac for lipsticks so i have no idea!
